ken_berrymanKen Berryman, BA (Melbourne), MEd (LaTrobe), was the first Manager of the Melbourne Office of the National Film and Sound Archive after its separation from the National Library of Australia in 1984.

He wrote and produced a number of the NFSA’s regional archival video compilations over several years during the lifetime of this retail program.

In 2005, Ken was appointed as the first full-time Manager of the Archive’s Oral History Program (OHP), and helped develop the Oral History collection by commissioning more than 800 interviews and extending the breadth and quality of the interviewer pool over a 10 year period.

He remains involved with the OHP as a freelance interviewer and volunteer assistant, and with the field in general as current Secretary of Oral History Victoria.
