Dick Collingridge is a film and video producer/director who has also designed and advised on film and audiovisual equipment.
After an initial position with London television station Associated Rediffusion, Dick returned to Australia to join the ABC and subsequently several other companies including Cinesound Productions, equipment suppliers Sixteen Millimetre Australia, and Film Australia.
Under his own production company he has made over 500 programs on a wide variety of subjects. Calling on his technical background he has been involved in setting up a range of display systems at events ranging from music and dance concerts and sporting events through to the multi-screen displays around Sydney for the 2000 Olympics. Currently he is involved in setting up a museum dedicated to film, television and radio.
